Timed Delivery - On-site when you need it!
Simple Returns - Just call us for collection
Mainland UK deliveries only - other areas need special delivery arrangements, please call us.

Delivery Options

The following types of delivery apply:

Premium Delivery - overnight palletised/parcel freight if ordered before 12 noon
Timed Delivery - scheduled for delivery on a set date specified by the customer
Saturday Delivery - overnight palletised/parcel freight with delivery on Saturday
Standard Delivery - transported over a period of three working days for great value

1. Delivery Policy

1.1 Builder Superstore will notify you by way of email when your goods are to be dispatched to you. The message will contain details of when your order left our premises and your delivery type in addition to any reasons for a delay in the delivery of the Goods purchased by you.

1.2 If Builder Superstore receives no communication from you, within 7 days of delivery, regarding any problems with the Goods, you are deemed to have received the Goods in full working order and with no problems.

1.3 An order will be despatched the same day when the following applies:

1.3.1 The order is made and received by Builder Superstore system before 14:00 (UK)

1.3.2 The order is made on Monday-Friday and is not a Bank Holiday or any other day subject to alternative working hours

1.3.3 The complete order is in stock and fully available for despatch

1.3.4 There are no modifications, cancellations or amendements to the order by the customer

1.4 When any of the conditions in 1.3 are apparent the order will be despatched on the next available working day.

1.5 Deliveries are available to UK mainland addresses and if any other address is listed for delivery then Builder Superstore cannot guarantee supply. If your order is being delivered to any of the following areas then an increased delivery charge is applicable as shown above - Builder Superstore reserve the right to cancel orders made in these areas:

2. Returns Policy

Builder Superstore aims to always provide high quality Goods that are fault free and undamaged. On occasion however, goods may need to be returned. Returns are governed by these Terms and Conditions.

2.1 If you receive Goods which do not match those that you ordered, unless accompanied by an explanatory note detailing the changes, stating reasons for the changes and setting out your options, you should contact us within 14 days to arrange collection and return. Builder Superstore is responsible for paying shipment costs. You will be given the option to have the Goods replaced with those ordered (if available) or to be refunded through the payment method used by you when purchasing the Goods. Refunds and replacements will be issued upon our receipt of the returned Goods.

2.2 If any Goods you have purchased have faults when they are delivered to you, you should contact Builder Superstore within 7 days of receipt to arrange collection and return. The faults must be recorded by photograph and emailed to contact@buildersuperstore.co.uk to confirm the fault is apparent prior to arranging collection. Builder Superstore is responsible for paying shipment costs only when the fault is confirmed in writing by Builder Superstore . Goods must be returned in their original condition with all packaging and documentation. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods, as paid by you, will be refunded to you through the payment method used by you when purchasing the Goods.

2.3 If any Goods develop faults within their warranty period, you are entitled to a repair or replacement under the terms of that warranty.

2.4 If Goods are damaged in transit and the damage is apparent on delivery, you should sign the delivery note to the effect that the goods have been damaged. In any event, you should report such damage to Builder Superstore within 7 days of receipt and arrange collection and return. Builder Superstore is responsible for paying shipment costs. Upon receipt of the returned Goods at Builder Superstore premises, the price of the Goods, as paid by you, will be refunded to you through the payment method used by you when purchasing the Goods. Should only a small percentage of the order be damaged in transit then a claim of upto 50% of the value of each item excluding VAT can be made. With photographic evidence of each damaged item the customer can apply to claim a refund of this value within the 7 day period. Builder Superstore reserves the right to refund damages on part orders - this does not affect your statutory rights. Should the customer be unhappy with this arrangement, the whole order can be cancelled and returned for a full refund.

2.5 You have a statutory right to a “cooling off” period. This period begins once your order is complete and ends 7 days after the Goods have been delivered. If you change your mind about the goods within this period, please return them to Builder Superstore within 7 days of receipt. Goods can only be returned for this reason if their packaging remains unopened and the Goods can be re-sold, as new, without any additional work on the part of Builder Superstore. You are responsible for paying shipment costs if Goods are returned for this reason.

2.6 If you wish to return Goods to Builder Superstore for any of the above reasons, please contact us at contact@buildersuperstore.co.uk or call us on 08000 192 405 to make the appropriate arrangements.

2.7 Builder Superstore reserves the right to exercise discretion with respect to any returns under these Terms and Conditions. Factors which may be taken into account in the exercise of this discretion include, but are not limited to:

2.7.1 Any use or enjoyment that you may have already had out of the Goods;

2.7.2 Any characteristics of the Goods which may cause them to deteriorate or expire rapidly;

2.7.3 Any discounts that may have formed part of the purchase price of the Goods to reflect any lack of quality made known to the Customer at the time of purchase.

Such discretion to be exercised only within the confines of the law.

Palletised Delivery

Builder Superstore uses Palletways (UK) Limited for all palletised delivery, they are the UK's Number 1 in next day pallet delivery.

Using Palletways we can now deliver to you almost anywhere in the UK. We offer Economy, Overnight and Timed delivery services with Saturday delivery where requested.

As an example of how effective Palletways is, the main Palletways hub in Lichfield is the largest of its kind in Europe and the hub is now over 350,000 sq ft. All Builder Superstore palletised deliveries go through the Palletways Hub in Lichfield.

Every night, the hub, moves into action. Sophisticated information technology processes all the relevant data for the goods collected earlier in the day by the Palletways network members and sorts them into designated delivery areas within the hub. When they are ready for despatch, the members return with the loads to their local depot facilities. From here they are distributed to their final delivery points the same day or on an economy basis.

14.00 - 18.00: Collection starts from customers in their respective postcode area. Then the vehicle returns to its depot with customer collections for input into the Palletways system.
21.30 - 03:00: Vehicles arrive at the Palletways hub, where the goods are processed for despatch.
04.00: The last of the vehicles depart the hub with its goods to be delivered in the network and starts the journey to the local depot.
07.00: A Palletways vehicle arrives at a local depot with goods for delivery in that area
08.30 - 17:00: Local delivery vehicles are loaded and commence distribution of goods to their final destination.
