Submitted by t 22:09 Wed 30th September 2009 Reply (1) Hi, I was intending to lay the Azure Slabs on top of a type 1 then sharp sand is this Acceptable? Thanks. ReplyHi Tom, the Azure Limestone Exterior Paving slabs can be laid the same like any other slabs, with a sharp sand and mortar mix. I am unsure what you mean by ‘...Type 1 then Sharp Sand...’ is this about the type of sand or is there something else you wish to lay on? If you are laying onto concrete you could get away of laying to flagstones directly onto the concrete using traditional internal tiling methods. By applying a thick layer of adhesive to the ground, avoiding the ‘dot and dab’ method as this can lead to breakages later on, as the tile becomes layed unbalanced. I hope this helps. Happy Building! Thanks ReplyHi Archie, unfortunately at the moment we do not supply mixed size pallets but keep an eye out in the near future. We only sell full pallets of paving as this offers significant savings to the customer and enables us to despatch them immediately. With this increased logistical capacity but we can offer next day delivery within the UK mainland on orders placed before 12 noon. Buying items together will save you a little money on delivery as there is a flat fee plus incremental weight calculated in all our delivery charges. Happy Building!
