This product will be ideal for that kind of laying. I would recommend a thicker bed for outside, just so the tiles have more room to expand in the weather changes.
Also, please remember that as it is outside, not to use the dot and dab method of laying, as this can create air pockets under the tile and can crack with weight.

A 2mm bed will produce 4.4 sq meters, so it will need 228 bags. If you would like any more assistance please contact our helpful customer service team on 08000 192 405. Also, this adhesive should be strong enough to lay on top of old tiles. However, I would recommend removing old tiles, as this will make the installation job a lot easier for yourself.
