Tile adhesive and grout

It's not really a topic that you can get excited about, but when you are tiling there are a couple essential components you cannot do without - tile adhesive and tile grout.

There are of course different types of tile adhesive you can buy depending on the type of job you are doing. If you are tiling a floor using porcelain tiles then you will probably need specialist floor adhesive, using a tube of generic adhesive from your local DIY store just won't do the job!

There are in fact all sorts of different types of adhesive, including waterproof adhesive, high grab adhesive and wall adhesive. And of course to match these there are also many different types of grout that can come in different colours to match the tiles you have chosen.

Adhesive and grout come in either ready mixed or powder form. The ready mixed is perfect for those jobs you need to do quickly, whilst if you are going to do a lot of tiling, the powder option may be a little better because you can mix the quantity you need and use the rest at a later date.
