3. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION:

Not hazrdous according to Council Directive 1999/45/EC and its subsequent amendments.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES:

Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If discomfort persists seek medical advice.
Skin Contact: Remove contamination with proprietary skin cleaner, followed by washing with soap and water. This procedure should also be followed prior to eating, drinking, smoking and toilet functions. Do not use solvent, thinners or white spirit.
Eye Contact: Irrigate immediately with clean water for 15 minutes and obtain medical attention.
Ingestion: No first aid should be needed.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES:

Suitable Extinguishing Media: Carbon dioxide (CO2), foam, dry powder or fine water spray.
Water can be used to cool fire exposed containers.
Unsuitable Extinguishing Media: None known.
Special Exposure Hazards in Fires: None known.
Required Special Protective Equipment for Fire Fighters: A self-contained respirator and protective clothing should be worn. Keep containers cool with water spray until well after the fire is out. Determine the need to evacuate or isolate the area according to your local emergency plan.
Hazardous Combustion Products: Silica. Carbon oxides and traces of incompletely burned carbon compounds. Formaldehyde.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES:

Precautions: Wear proper protective equipment. Do not allow large quantities to enter drains or surface waters. Scrape up spilt material and place in a container fitted with a lid. The spilled product produces an extremely slippery surface.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE:

Handling: General ventilation is recommended. Local ventilation is recommended. Avoid skin contact and eye contact. Do not breathe vapour. Storage: Do not store with oxidizing agents. Keep container tightly closed and store away from water or moisture.

Hand Protection: Chemical protective gloves should be worn: butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber. Gloves suitable for up to 60 minutes use.
Skin Protection: Protective clothing is not normally necessary.
Eye Protection: Safety glasses should be worn.

10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY:

Stable under recommended handling and storage conditions. Can react with strong oxidising agents. Cures in the presence of water or moisture, releasing a small amount of acetic acid.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION:

Vapours released during curing may cause eye irritation, can also irritate mouth, nose and throat. Can irritate skin on prolonged or repeated contact. Small amounts transferred to the mouth by fingers during use should not injure. Swallowing large amounts may cause digestive discomfort. Product may emit formaldehyde vapours at temperatures above 150oC in the presence of air. Formaldehyde vapour is harmful by inhalation and irritating to eyes and respiratory system at breathing concentration less than one part per million (1 ppm).

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION:

Solid material, insoluble in water. No adverse effects are predicted. No adverse effects on aquatic organisms are predicted and no bioaccumulation potential.

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Disposal of in accordance with local regulations. Completely discharge containers, they may be recycled or reused.

14. TRANSPORT INFORMATION:

No regulations apply for the transportation of this material. Not classified as hazardousfor road, rail, sea or air transport.
